Volt Foamposites

In honor of the Nike Foamposites that came out I did a quick graphic for them. Hope you enjoy these and I promise there is more on the way. So tell me what you think of these two designs I did, ENJOY!

School work

I have been meaning to do this for a while now and now I have the time to do it. Here are the things that I worked on with my professor Dr. Koffman who helped me out a bunch this summer helping me get better at this in order for me to be ready for the future I am proud of my work and I can only get better from here. So with out further a do here are some of my designs from the summer. No all of the images uploaded but here are the ones that I could upload.

Using the Pen tool. The Images on the left are thumbnails from the internet and on the right is the rendered or finished product. plus I threw in a logo to make it seem more like a logo.

Using the prespective tool.

This was interesting because I used the Mesh tool which is not easy but I got the hang of it, some what.

Patience: The Great Elephant

This is the end result of what I have been working on for the past week. I am getting better also I'm proud of myself with every sketch, video I watch, and even some books that have been recommended for me to help me become great. What I like about this is the progress, if you notice that the top flowers are different from the rest of the piece. I have been looking at so many Youtube videos on how to get better at art that the style that most of them used stuck to me and that's how those flowers came out. Everything else is somewhat the same but I'm paying more attention to detail. I am proud of this one I will only get better from here so check it out for yourself and tell me what you think:

A lot has been going on lately, once again Georgia was hit with the snow/ice storm and everything kind of stopped for a while. As of now I have been busy with work, kind of, school, I have started back working out and eating healthier so that's a plus, and also trying to be a better person. So as of now my schedule is tight but everything is good right now, plus I have a test Monday. Anyway, I'm learning more and more about being a graphic designer, I just have to keep practicing and putting my work out there for the world to see. Looking at this I still have a lot to work on but I'm getting better one piece at at time. It is going to be a long process but it's what I want to do so I just have to keep practicing and working on it. If it came easy then it means nothing, so I'm going to keep working at it. Throwback

It's not Throwback Thursday yet but I have to show you guys this. I did this back in 2009, 7 years ago!!! This was when I was a huge Kanye West fan, I still am but the fact that I found this made me happy. You never know how much you progressed until you sit back and see for yourself. I can tell it is old because of everything that's weird about it but at the time I thought it was my best work. Man I can't believe it's been 7 years, time stops for nobody, but I think I have progressed even though I'm not at the level I want to be on yet I'm getting there. So here is the picture and I hope you guys like it. 

Robot Lion: Nike Lebron 11 "Miami Night" [Rough Draft]

This is what I've been working on for the past two days now. This is the rough draft version though. The only thing I do not like about this is the vectoring that makes it look a little muddy but it turned out okay. I based this off of the colorways of the new Lebron 11's that come out in 12/2014 but is available now for $200, don't know if they are real or not so buy at your own caution. I'm not going to buy them because I don't have that type of money, maybe some have that type of money but I don't. Anyway I hope you like this, check it out and tell me what you think:

Still practicing on gestures so I can finally draw people, that is an aspect in my art that I am working on. Christmas is around the corner and school is coming up in a month I think but a lot is going on right now. Still live by the Big K.R.I.T. verse, "So what you been creating on your free time?" Alexander the Great [rough draft]

The reason why I have not uploaded a sketch of the day sketch is because I've been working on this all day. Actually, I've been watching football, cleaning, and doing this today so I've been kind of busy. I had this sketch in my sketch book for a while now and I'm just now doing something with it. Here it is the rough draft of the end product. I did the sketch, cleaned it up a little and then put it in the computer for some practice. If you notice it is just like my header, well the gold part at least, I like using real textures in some of my work. The ART BY JERI part is debatable if I want to leave it on there or not but it is growing on me. Anyway, here it is:

Video of the Day

I love this song and I also love the artwork as well. I would love to learn how to do this one day. I think it is fun to know how to use Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Flash, and other software like this. Hopefully I can learn how to use these programs one day, plus I am saving up for a drawing tablet so I can further enhance my digital artwork. The video is great so much detail on the helmets it is crazy how they made it look so realistic. The artist name is TalaMonse look at his YouTube page when you have a chance, he hasn't uploaded many videos but the ones he does are great. I've been looking at different drawings on YouTube and Tumblr in order to keep my eyes fresh and to see what others are doing in order to improve my work. What I'm working on

This is a little something I'm working on. Don't have a name for it yet but it's gonna be a design for the NHLS(Natural High Life Style). This is a clothing line that's in the making. I'm not rushing anything I'm gonna take my time & at the same time just have fun with it. It is inspired by Lebron James' shoe, which one I don't know yet. I have many more to come just stay tuned.

It is gonna be a while before it's finished because all this homework & test I have coming up in this month alone. I think if I didn't have school things might me a little quicker for me. I think I would have more time to do the things I want but I'm gonna stick it out...but anyway. I will get back to y'all on the progress of this ASAP. So thanks for tuning in & all the support. 

Ms Chill

This is gonna be one of the designs off the new Chill Mode collection. I'm proud of this design because it was mostly hand down with a few details from the computer to give it a more professional look. This took about 4 or 5 days to complete with the drawing, coloring, plus a little procrastination. Two days on the girl which included her outline, skin tone, and everything else. I spent hours just working on the outlines and shadows alone not to mention touch ups. I'm slowly finding my style when it comes to my craft. The background is what I'm really proud of since I drew the whole thing. Let me say I am horrible at landscapes but I'm just proud that this came out looking something like the picture. 

Everything on here is hand drawn other than the ribbon that took less than an hour but was still pretty hard just to get everything symmetrically the same length and width. I love colors if you haven't already noticed mainly cool colors with a little warm colors that helps the viewer look at the whole picture. I'll keep you guys posted when the shirt go on sale but until then tell me what you guys think.
